The Grass-on lamp is green both outside and inside. The unique light brings the outdoors inside your home with its synthetic grass look. And to go along with the green theme, the whole lamp is made from recycled materials and is completely recyclable.
Grass-on was designed by three Venetian architects at ITlab for a charity competition. The cubic shape allows the lamp to be placed on the floor, table or even suspended in the air as a grass chandelier.
“Grass-on is an extension of ITLab’s mission to realize new concepts between architecture, design and interiors by using surprising materials and forms,” inhabitat.com says. “Primarily an architecture firm, the creatives here refer to their collective as a design laboratory for project innovation, a networked laboratory for making things, not only the things, but also the spaces between the things, the hidden connection. The Grass-on lamp is a prime example of their projects which push new ideas, aesthetics and functionality into design.”
